About Watercolor Art Socials

I have always painted as a way to keep up my own sense of craft and connection to creativity. I see painting as a meditative practice and therefore will be sharing my calm and experience as we make something with less anxiety. The facilitation I lead is relaxing, social and creative.
I provide light refreshments, and attendees should feel free to bring a bottle or two of any wine or beverage preference that you and your buds will like. These classes are for adults only and since it is my home, I am limiting the class size at eight people maximum. Please invite your friends and make it a night out! Perfect for unwinding from the day!

Art Socials take place in the artist’s home in Oakland, CA. Directions will be emailed to attendees before the class day.

Upcoming Watercolor Socials

Thursday, August 17, 7-10:30pm

We will be painting a weedy seadragon from a found photo. Weedy Seadragons are one of my favorite things at the aquariums I’ve visited. They’re so funny to me.

I will have an optional take-home kit for those of you who want to try out painting from home for $30. (includes paper, silhouette sticker and paint/brush set). Every take home kit comes with $5 discount on your next workshop.

To signup, please click here to pay for the Weedy Seadragon $35.00 class fee through Paypal:

Sunday, August 20, 3-6:30pm

We will be painting a Dragon I designed. This dragon in my painting is very cute- but he still breathes fire, so don’t be fooled! Get ready for your Sunday night TV shows by painting your very own flying pyro-reptile!
